Well i bought a Acer Laptop with vista home basic edition. Since i do not like Apple's Quicktime i usually install quicktime alt on my computers. When i did this on the laptop some of my icons in the system tray are color washed( greyscale?). They still work but all colors are gone. Nothing else seems to be affected. OF course i do not have another vista computer so i can compare files with a hex editor to see if there are any changes. Anyone have this kind of problem? I can find nothing on the internet so far.
