One PC with Windows XP Home edition could not boot yesterday. When booted in safe mode it hanged at gagp30kx.sys. Run system restore, it did not work. And I renamed gagp30kx.sys via Recovery Console, it still did not boot and hanged at mup.sys which was listed above gagp30kx.sys before I renamed gagp30kx.sys.

It finally booted after I disconnected the Wireless adapter. But when I reconnect the adapter the PC hanged.

I tested different UBS devices with the same port, some hanged the PC and some not. Before yesterday, all of the devices were working fine on that PC.

Here are my test results:

Canon i550 printer : working
64 mb flash drive: working
2 G flash drive: not working
ZyXel Wireless 11b/g USB Adapter: not working
Portable hard drive: not working

Could anybody help me to identify the reason of the problem?

Many thanks in ahead.
