Turning off the Keyboard

Some one asked me this question today and I do not know the answer.

Is it possible to disable the keys on a keyboard while the computer is still running so that if a little child bangs on the keyboard bad things do not have a chance of happening?

you can do a ctrl/alt/delete to bring up the task manager and choose lock computer. this way you will have to do ctrl/alt/delete to unlock the computer.
