One of the programs I rely asks me to check for updates at every boot. It is important to get those updates. The dialogue box appears fairly early in the boot process. If I go ahead and click ok to check for updates it won't do so until other items are load. I believe it is the loading of my firewall (zone alarm) that prevents the update. Zone Alarm loads very late in the startup process.

Now the question, is there a way to move Zone Alarm up in the boot process and the program update later in the boot process?
