Hi, My WMP keeps crashing when I open any video files. The audio is fine, it doesn't crash then. But it keeps giving me the quartz.dll error. I have tried so many things from reinstalling WMP, Direct X and whatnot but still I cannot find a solution. Iam going crazy! Please I need help, if you need my computer specs just tell me how to get them so I can post them on here.
Thanks :)

I actually fixed the problem! I didn't leave sfc /scannow run long enough because I got a message pop up to put in the Win XP CD which was in there already, so I assumed that it had to cancel out. No more crashing! Sweet!

Hello hauntedmansion and welcome to geeks to go!

I apologize for the extended wait. What is the exact error message you are receiving?
