I've already tried reinstalling Firefox but that didn't work.

I might get my knuckles rapped for suggesting this, but Firefox has it's own user forum. Since they all use Firefox the likeleyhood of finding a solution is bound to be greater (and probably quicker):
http://www.firefoxforum.com/ and http://forums.mozill...g/index.php?c=4

(Now I wait with baited breath for a message from the moderator!)

A slightly more cheeky solution is to not open more than four tabs in the first place. Problem solved! :)

Seriously though, has the original poster tried the usual Firefox tricks - starting (Firefox) in Safe Mode, disabling extensions/themes and making a new profile?

Yes I have tried disabling all the extensions and themes but I don't know how to make a new profile, also it happens more frequently when I open a lot of tabs. Like it happened to me when I just opened google and went on for about 10 minutes and then it would have the crash.

If you have updated FF recently the firewall can cause strange behaviour, make sure the new version has full permission..
