Windows XP Admin Password Expired

My mom's Windows XP Password has expired. She cant get the computer to do anythng other than show the log on message. She tried putting the Windows cd and nothing.. she tried restarting it.. and nothing.. Ive seen a few articles online.. but I'm really not sure what to do.. can anyone help me...pleeeease!! Thank you
