Could you give us a link to the system requirements? Or, failing that, at least tell us what game?

If it is a Core 2 Duo, then yes it should handle it fine.

If it is a Pentium D, then also yes, but you will have to play on much lower settings.

Also, make sure your system meets the rest of the requirements, especially the graphics card requirement. Do you have at least a NVIDIA 6800 or an ATI X800?

That's what Titan linked to James, but the OP cannot use this utility, because it only analyzes the computer it is run on, and the OP hasn't yet bought the computer.

This is going to be your goal, Chancy:

Recommended Requirements

CPU: Core 2 Duo/Athlon X2 or better
RAM: 1.5GB
Video Card: NVIDIA 7800 Series, ATI Radeon 1800 Series or better
VRAM: 512MB of Graphics Memory
Storage: 12GB
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible
ODD: DVD-ROM
OS: Microsoft Windows XP or Vista
DirectX: DX9.0c or DX10

If the system has not been purchased/built then you may be interested in visting our System Building and Upgrading Forums.

Edit: I just noticed your original post. There is only one dual core CPU that sells with a clock speed of 3.2Ghz and that is the AMD 64 X2 6400+. Whatever you were looking at that said you needed a 3.2GHz dual core CPU was false. Also clock speed is far from being the only factor that determines the performance of your CPU.
