I'm looking for a software and im not sure if it exists or not. Sometimes i have a video on my computer and i want to show it to my other friend who is at home on his computer. The only way that i know of is to upload it somewhere or putting the webcam to my screen. Is there a software out there that lets me play my video on my computer and my friend can watch it at the same time on his computer?

short answer is no. All video sharing services are "web" based. YouTube being the best example. Even wmp requires a number of things on the back side to make it work for streaming.
