Hi Stanleyboy,

Welcome to Geeks 2 Go and sorry we appear to have missed your origional post, but what we tend to do is look for posts with no replies and as you bumped yours 4 times it was overlooked as it was assumed that you were been helped.

BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING YOU NEED TO UPGRADE YOUR XP TO SP1a. as without it you are vulnerable and we would be wasting our time here. Click on the link below. Do not upgrade to SP2 yet as that may interefere with what we need to do. If you have difficulties in upgrading it may indicate that your copy of XP may not be legitimate and if this is the case i would be unable to help you

Link to SP1a

From looking at your log, you have quite a few issues to rectify so please carry outt the following procedures.

A malicious .DLL file is disrupting the LSP chain on your computer. We need to get rid of it.

1. Please download LSPFix from here.
2. Run the LSPFix.exe that you have just finished downloading.
3. Check the I know what I'm doing box.
4. In the Keep box you may see one or more instances of c:\windows\system32\espfspi.dll.
5. Select every instance of c:\windows\system32\espfspi.dll and move each one to the Remove box by clicking the >> button.
6. When you are done click Finish>>.

Once you have upgraded and carried out the above process please rescan with HJT and post log in this thread so that we can continue with the fix
