So I decide to watch LOTR today, I pull up MSI dvd player and it crashes before it can even get the main menu up.. InterActual does the same thing.. Windows Media Player does as well.. the only dvd playback software I have that is deciding to work (at the moment) is Cyberlink. I've tried a few other free dvd playback programs.. but they do the same thing.. not just with LOTR though.. also this is occurring with no media in my drives. I would just settle with Cyberlink.. but it doesnt playback in 5.1 surround.. above and beyond that this may be a larger issue ( I hope not). I have uninstalled/reinstalled my software.. but to no avail. :)

ok... now Cyberlink Powerdvd is doin it too.. I fear this is a serious issue
