Can anyone tell me a way of getting rid of the error message "Svchost.exe has caused an error" Loads of people seem to have had this problem with Windows 2000 but can someone tell me what it actually is and how to get rid of it? Its driving me mad! Thanks a lot. Aled

Please can you make sure that your PC has all the latest updates from microsoft see
Security Update for Windows 2000 (KB823980)
you can download a removeal blaster remval tool from symantec's
(Just click the Start button and the tool will scan and do it's job)

Please let us know how you get on
