When I try installing Opera browser I get the Windows Installer message
"The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel'

I'm the only one using it.

I tried using Windows Installer Cleanup.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I suggest that you download a new full setup file of Opera from the official site and Save it to your desktop. Once the download is complete, close your current browser and any other active applications. That is, anything listed in the Applications tab of Taskmanager.

Then double click the downloaded file and allow setup to run the install.

Opera: http://www.opera.com/download/

Please do let me know about your progress.
