Hi, i was thinking about buying GH3 for ps2 and noticed through my research that if u had bought a guitar controler for part 1 or 2 it wont be compatible with part three.. if i buy the part 3 package (game and guitar) will it work with part 1 and 2? secondly.. what about when guitar hero 4 and 5 come out.. will my guitar from part three not work anymore??? just curious? hope sumone can help... Thank

The gh2 controller works fine with gh3. The only difference between the gh2 and gh3 guitars are their shapes.

hmm interesting.. how come some of the guitars (ebay auctions) specifically say only work with games 1 and 2.. and then some auctions make the case of mentioning that the guitar that they are selling works with all three??? any idea?? good to know that any guitar will work with the games..
