I have a friend that he downloaded the Vista from the Windows Marketplace, and right before where he choose the hardware like where to install it at he gets BSOD, the error is "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL STOP: 0x000000D1".

Right now he's running a MemTest to test his Ram, but I'm not sure what the problem is.

Thanks for any help,

Hi Tom07...

This error is usually related to a device when you get it while installing Vista. Did you run the Upgrade Advisor before you upgraded?

Do you have any external hardware connected? Unhook everything but the keyboard and mouse and try it.
