My pc will not continue to start due to freezing, My pc keeps freezing

No matter what option I choose, normal startup, safe mode, recovery, etc, etc, my pc freezes a little pass these options.

I would like you to boot your system in plain ols Safe Mode.

Take note of the last file showing when it freezes.

Hi Murray,

i misssed this post yesterday. But today I am in safemode and able to access the internet

I ran my virus scanner, nothing, I am not able to boot in windows normal mode it freezes at the windows screen

Okay.. What is the make and model of your computer?

Do you have an actual Microsoft XP cd or just one of those Recovery/Restore disks?
