hello everyone i just join and am wanting some help with a couple of computer monitors that i have, the problem is that when i plug one of them up to a computer and to power i hit the power button on the monitor and it powers up but when i turn on the computer nothing shows up on the screen, now before you say check the connections, check the video card etc, these screens are being tested on a system with a working video card etc and the system has been tested with a screen that works, so if anyone has any ideas on why this is happening(same thing with both screens) then please let me know, thanks in advance for any help/advice.

I don't know about anyone else but i throw out any CRT monitors that don't work. On LCD monitors a blank screen usually means the backlight bulb has burned out and needs replacing.

Same thing applys to desktop LCD monitors.
