No, it'd be composed of all of the same material to simply the build and avoid possible leaks. That reservoir is made out of aluminum by the looks of it, which automatically makes it out of the question in my loop.

Also, why did you use ice? Your radiator would have been heating your loop if you'd hadn't removed it. :)
