Hi guys,

I'm off to work in France for 5 months next week, I'll be taking a laptop with me, but the work I'll be doing means I won't be able to take my PC with me.

Are there any tips on how to store my PC for this period? Also, are there any pointers for when I come to boot my system after such a long period of non-usage?

Cheers in advance

Common sense.
Don't put it in the garage or the shed. Keep it in a non-damp area away from any extreme coldness/heat and it'll be fine.
As to booting it up afterwards - bear in mind most branded computers use bits that have sat on a shelf somewhere for months on end and they turn out fine.
