okay ive had lots of probs with my comp lately, cahnged motherboard, cpu, everythign, now i took my compuyrt in an got professionals to set everything up coz i was afraid id screw it up, now im in a serious mess,

a while ago when xp first came out a mate of mine installed it on my computer for me, now ive started up my computer and the xp startup thing has showed (im not sure wot its called but when u install xp on a new computer u get this message on first start up) and now i have to enter in the 25 letter registration code presented on the certificate of authenticity

my mate doesnt have the code for that copy anymore and i need that computer, can anyone help?!?!

okat i fonud out my laptops code, which is the same as my pcs, so im all good, now my prob is that ill have to register this version in 30 days, how can i avoid this?

If you call your local support centre they will replace the product key
