don,
I read the article from microsoft about admin. shares and it does not apply to Windows XP home edition, which i have.In admin. tools i go to computer management under shares, when i click it has 3 folders, shares, sessions and open folders. The only one that has something in it is shares which has IPC$.The in that article it says to right click and click stop sharing, but in my edition that doesn't come up.In properties in network connection you have 4 catagories with checks near them, client for microsoft network, file and printer sharing for microsoft network,qo s packet scheduler and internet protocol.I figure you can uncheck the first two,as long as the computer can still receive windows update that this will not be affected. This is getting to annoying if i should really worry about it.Tell me what you think. :tazz:

I wouldn't be worried about what the program is finding, you just found what the capabilities are for,

I would just leave it alone,
