Neither one is directing me to a specific laptop, just a page telling me that they cannot find the product.
I'd suggest not buying from The Source.

What do you plan on using these laptops for? Again, I don't recommend you buy laptops from The Source.

Mostly for....

Downloading stuff, Watching movies, Playing LIMITED games... just like Halo Trial and small stuff like that.
Also of web surfing...

not so much programming or anything, maybe some video editing. and only a couple of games.

i will be using it for traveling and stuff portable like that.

again, not so much for video games, but basically some basic things like Halo trial, and MAYBE. slim, but might try and play css.

I'd take the one for 600$ if you plan on trying CSS or video editing.
Though, with only 1GB of RAM, it may seem choppy at times.
Again, I suggest you don't buy from The Source.

Yes, thanks, but Really, the only other places in my area are Best buy, and Future shop and i dont have 1000+ to dish out, and the cheapest ones are 1000$, i just dont have that kind of money, this laptop your saving almost 400$.

I usually dont buy from the source, becuase there so expensive, but this seems to be a great deal to me... its usually like 1000, but they chopped off 400 or so from it, which seems reasonable.

Keep watching in the futureshop/best buy fliers, if you watch or even go into a store, they normally have some lower end models.
My problem with The Source is they take your money and then your on your own, I've had a terrible time with returning stuff there.

Will it help if im like actually going in the store to purchase this instead of online or on the phone at all?

But other then the company itself(The source) do you think this is a fair value?

I also live in canada, is there any other good stores i can browse by? thanks

I live in canada as well.
Take a look at www.NCIX.com if you don't mind shopping online.

I'd take the 600$ one, but these laptops can only be bought online.
They are web exclusives.
