once the desktop is on and I click on IE a box comes up saying that Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. I can not get on line at all. any sugestions .... please .... it appears that I have a Error Signature

Yeah, don't use Explorer. Get Mozilla Firefox; all of your problems will be solved...While you're at it, get Thunderbird, the email client, as well. Get them here at: http://www.mozilla.org :tazz:

Double click MY COMPUTER, then C: drive, then WINDOWS folder, then look for WINDOWSUPDATEFILES....inside you should find a ie6setup.exe

double click it and reinstall ie6
