How would I go in doing that?

There was already a way when I tried to delete the folder Directx in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/DirectX but then I couldn't install any directx versions.

Ok I did that and set -dxlevel 90 in garry's mod. It's fixed for now...

EDIT: Nope it did it again after I used speederxp.

took off speederxp and it's still doing it.

I reinstalled the latest drivers for my graphics card but I couldn't reinstall directx 9.0c because it says I already have the most updated version and "don't need to".

I managed to last 10 minutes in garry's mod untill my character turned around 180 degrees and I got:

Internal driver error in IDirect3DDevice9
again

Help for it?

I sent it to steam but it could take months....

I installed half-life 2 SMOD (third party game) and got the Direct3ddevice error once. Then I restart my computer and run it again. Now I get this:

The instruction at "0x2416afb7" referenced memory at "0x0e52f41c". The memory could not be "read"

Now I can't run half-life 2 anymore period.

-Counter strike source works
-Half-life episode one works
-Half-life deathmatch works

Any ideas? I appreciate your help at this time of the year.

EDIT: I heard something about increasing paged pool memory. How would I do that?
