I am looking at getting a new pc from Dell and when customizing it in the ordering process there are some options that i would like to no about

Enable Wake-on-LAN [£3.00]

Enable Auto-On [£3.00]

Firstly what do these do and are they easy enough for someone like me with an ok knowledge of computers to enable my self when i get the computer??

Wake on LAN is an Ethernet computer networking standard that allows a shut-down computer to be booted remotely. (an easy search on google found this :) )

I think you can enable this yourself even with minimal knowledge
