I've always been able to watch full episodes of shows I missed on ABC.com and Fox.com. For the last several months I've tried to watch and the abc site says error, temproarily unavailable and the fox site says loading, will begin in 16 secs. and never goes any further.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled. All appears to go well but it won't show the video.
We did switch to roadrunner and ca security from Aldelphia and Freedom and roadrunner says it's a microsoft update issue and they couldn't help me.
Any ideas?
I've deleted cookies, cleared cache, closed pop up blocker, closed phishing filter, turned off personal firewall. None of that helped.
Thanks for your help.

it appears that the movie player uses java. Please go to http://java.com/ and make sure you have the latest version of java.

I fixed the issue for Fox.Com with the following:

I opened IE with no addons.
I already had added Fox.com as a trusted site.
It gave me an error that gksrv.fox.com wa trying to access a trusted site.
So i added it as well. Problem fixed.

IN IE7 (Vista)
goto Tools -> Internet Options ->
Security -> Privacy -> Trusted Sites

Add the following as trusted sites:
fox.com
gksrv.fox.com

this worked and i watched the latest epsiode of HOUSE :)

I tried the same thing with ABC.com

i added the following to thr trusted sites list:
abc.com
abc.go.com
fep.abc.go.com
ll.media.abc.com

after making those changes
i watched an episode of LOST :)

I'm having problems with this.

I mainly use (or used to use) Move via espn360.com. A few weeks ago, I reinstalled XP. Since then, when I load espn360, the player pops up, as do all the player's menu options (which are functional), but the video never stops saying, "loading." Eventually, the application freezes and I have to kill it.

I tried using other clients of Move Networks (ABC, Fox, etc) and none of them work.

Any ideas? I meet all the system requirements, have espn360 as a trusted site, and pretty much stip all security settings as low as I can.

Maximus, I am going to love you forever if this works. I missed the first half of one of my favorite shows and can't find it anywhere else. Crossed fingers! I'm at the site. No luck so far.
