I have a similar problem to that of aven steph who wrote on the 18th of Nov (here). When I am in Windows Live Messenger (version 8.1) I can no longer play games e.g. Solitaire Showdown. I used to be able to but that was months ago. Error message says I need to install Flash Player. Also some other items online aren't shown correctly like they are covered up. I did everything the administrator said, step by step. Please help me, I've had this problem too long already. In advance, I thank you.

Did you try following the steps listed in aven steph's thread?
Have you tried resetting Internet Explorer to default?
Make sure you have Flash version 9 installed, as that is the version required.
