Hello, I've been having some problems with my Internet connection lately.

First and most important of all of them: I can't download things... I'm completely stuck with this. The download will interrupt and display a message within the lines of :"The file (Insert download here) can not be saved because it can't connect to (a word I don't know how to translate) of origin"

I can't watch videos.... not Youtube, not Geevee, not nothing, streaming is impossible. It will load just a little part then stop completely. I can sometimes view them fully, but this seems to be very random

MSN Messenger isn't working properly, it continiously logs me off, I can't stay logged in for more than 3 minutes. It sometimes even cuts my connection completely, pages stop loading and the little light on my modem goes off

I have tried everything to fix this, but I just can't. I have called my Internet provider a bunch of times and each time they tell me to do something different, I have changed all kind of settings and still nothing. This last time I called tough, they told me I may have some kind of Malware which moves between the network (Since all my computer and 3 laptops share these problems). Now I'm completely puzzled as to what I have to do and would appreciate some help

Thanks

Hello Pima and welcome to Geeks to Go!

I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post a HiJackThis Log in THAT forum. If you are unable to run and/or post a HJT log, then post that in your initial post in the topic you create in that forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

Regards,

Ax
