Laptop freezes unless squeezed

My laptop freezes unless bent/squeezed near the left palm rest. When it is bent it continues where it was frozen without any errors.

Do you think the motherboard or case is not grounded properly, or is the motherboard broken? I have taken it apart (it's no longer under warranty) but I don't see anything out of the ordinary. I have it apart right now.

hard to say.... could be grounding issue, could also be a bad solder joint or a crack in the board or the trace....

If unit is not post prior windows and when you are bending or squeezed then it posts the windows. Then you will need to resplace defective motherboard. :)
