My computer sometimes slows to a halt because of svchost.exe, it takes 100% of my cpu. I can kill the process but then some activitys, (volume, downloads) stop, but my internet speeds up dramatically. Please Help!

Why are you trying to kill a perfectly good running process, it is a microsoft operating system which handles processes used by the DLLs. You may find that you have more than one running at a time, the one you need to worry about is scvhost.exe, this is the worm, do not terminate this process.
