Please reboot to safe mode, print out the instructions for killbox and all the files listed with it,
Add,
C:\Windows\Temp\DrTemp\wupdt.exe
To that list and give killbox another run

• Make sure you can view all Hidden Files/Folders
  
• Reboot into SAFE MODE
  
• Now while in safe mode please run Ewido

Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

First,

Reboot into SAFE MODE Make sure you can view all Hidden Files/Folders
Search for:
C:\WINDOWS\Temp\DrTemp\farmmext.exe

C:\WINDOWS\Temp\THI1995.tmp\farmmext.exe

C:\WINDOWS\Temp\THI45B7.tmp\farmmext.exe

C:\WINDOWS\Temp\THICDE.tmp\dlmax.dll

Right click on them one at a time, Click Properties, On the bottom check to make sure they are not checked as Read only, If so uncheck them and scan again with Ewido,


Next,

• Download FindIt's.zip to your desktop: http://forums.net-in...=post&id=142443
  
• Unzip/extract the files inside to a folder on your desktop.
• Open the folder and run FindIt's.bat and wait for notepad to open a text file. It will take awhile so please be patient ...
• Then post the results here please, along with the new HijackThis log.

I rebooted in SAFE MODE and made sure that all Hidden Files/Folders are viewable. I click the properties on each file and did not find any of them to be checked as Read only.

I did not run Ewido, since no files were checked as Read only.

The dlmax folder still exist.

What deleted these folders? I have been running all Ewido, Ad-aware, spybot, and clean-up daily.

Great news Burrell, Must have been a combination of them, finally they are gone !!

The dllmax files are quaretined in AOL Spyware Protection
I m not fimliar with that program I don't know how you can empty them from there,
