This isn't a huge issue, but I was wondering if there's a way to turn off the little yellow message balloons that pop up automatically from the icons in the system tray ("notification area"). If I could discriminate between types of balloons and only turn some off, that might be even better. I switch between wireless and wired internet connections frequently, so it's really a hassle to deal with all the internet-related balloons.

I saw somewhere that changes to the registry can get rid of these, but I'm not about to fiddle with the registry without knowing exactly what I'm doing.
