im trying to change vista to xp then my friend has a cd and i want to borrow it. he uses his cd in his computer already.

Howdy:

Very ILLEGAL. On top of that, you won't be able to activate XP which means it stops working in 30 days or less. That means you can't even get into your computer to do anything.

If you want XP, buy your own retail version.
