When i boot my system up, it says There's no drive connected to the fast track controller "the bios is not installed" is this a major issue? How can i repair it? Appreciate any help.

Sounds like you have a disk controller with no drives attached.

If it still works, it's an informational message. If it doesn't, it's an error message. ;-)

Googling the error message you posted gives alot of results.
