I know you've answered this before, but I didn't quite seem able to follow it as I am new here. I too have allaboutsearching keep reappearing after every start-up. I am currently using AntiVir, version 6, ZoneLabs Security firewall protections, and PestPatrol. They show no record of allaboutsearching appearing, yet, every shut down and reboot, there it is when I open the internet.

I did a search and saw a previous posting regarding this. I have downloaded CWShredder and Ad-aware as per your directions.....hopefully that will work.

Welcome to GTG professorjo :D

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results. <_<
