Not sure if this is the right section, but lets see....

I have a COX DVR. I record a TON of shows on it for my brother who is an over the road trucker.
He has a laptop on the truck with him, and well heres my question

1. Is it possiable to copy those shows onto an external HD.

2. If yes, what kind... ide or sata?

3. HOW do I do this... if its possiable.

Now I have already purchased (but I ask and they said I can return it if I need to) one Western Digital 320 IDE External HD with a USB cable connection. I would like to use this.... but can get a different one if I need to.

My brother is running XP with SP2... if that matters.

Thanks for any help..... I really need it
