McAfee Virus Protection and Internet Problems

When I am using the internet and I open McAfee Virus Protection my internet connection is lost. I have tried everything from reconnecting, repairing, restarting the computer, restarting the modem, and any other possible thing that you may be able to think of. Please help! ASAP! Please. Thank you!

what exactly do you mean by " my internet connection is lost"...
a quick fix would be uninstall McAfee Virus Protection ...then reinstall it
