have remove infections that hijacked this laptop and seemed to have a clean system. The only thing I am left with is , when I open Internet explorer i get the following error, " Cannot find C:\windows\system32\drivers\s_detect.htm ".
I have removed IE7 and still have thew problem with IE 6. Can anyone direct me to a Microsoft post that will help this. Thanks

Update to my post, I can still get on line even with that message. I get two of those messages and then it will log on to my home page.
