I just purchased a new Sony digital camera. I had a Sony camera previously.
I have many photos saved on my computer.
The pictures from my old camera are titled DSC-001, DSC-002 etc etc
My new camera is titleing the pictures the exact same thing.

Is there some way to get my computer to change the name of the pictures automatically as I'm uploading them? I already contacted Sony, and there is no way to change the title via the camera...

Basically, I do not want to have to rename each picture manually for the rest of my life....

Upload the photos into a different folder. You can rename multiple files at once, select them all, then right click on one, click rename, all of them will be renamed Filename (1), Filename (2) and so on. Then you can move them back into the folder all your other pictures are in.
