Im not sure of exactly what i'm infected with but over the past few weeks my antivirus program (Avast) has detected several trojans. I also have been getting MANY popups in internet explorer (I dont even use ie, i use firefox instead). Additionally my computer is running slower than normal and it does not want to shut down. In order to shut it down I have to hold my power button down. I have run avast antivirus scan several times and it has caught at least 1 trojan each time (over last several days). I tried the panda program suggested but I kept getting an error when trying to download it. I restarted my computer and still couldn't download it. Before finding this site I did a search for all new files on my computer within the last month. I did a search on a few of the files found and they turned out to be malware and I deleted them. The files I deleted include ISP (internet speed monitor -- many of the pop ups ive been getting say this on them) and qdrpack10. I also ended the processes with those names so that I could delete the folders. I am almost positive this isnt everything though ... please help!
