Kudos to your daughter for the quick fix. I'm glad you got it taken care of, and I too hope I can retain the info. I'm sure one of my users here at the office will come up with something similar before too long.

Gene1: Pleased you were able to resolve the problem.

I ran into this issue today on my daughter's machine (virus, spyware, not sure yet). Have never seen it before. Used the link provided by Major Payne "Micro$oft Support - Can't Open EXE files".

Worked great! I salute you, Major.
