When I turn my PC on, a bubble pops up at the bottom of the screen, saying there is new hardware to install. This is called AVG7 Kernel. I do not know what this hardware is or how to install it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if I'm asking a stupid question, I don't know anything about computers.

Sorry for the double post, but there is also another piece of hardware that needs to be installed message, this one is called Secdrv. Any ideas on how to deal with this? Thanks again.

avg7 is your antivirus program...it rpobably autoupdates and wants to install a new driver. I would open AVG and look for an update function

the second one I am unfamiliar with....is that the actual name? the only reference I can find to it has to do with copyrighted games....a copy protection scheme
