My computer has this thing called speech, where it translates text into speech, i've been playing with it all day =), but anyways, first of all does anyone know where i can find, err, well, download different voices? and my second question is,.. is it possible for me to set up the computer to say like "hello stephanie" when i turn it on and say like goodnight when i turn it off? you know stuff like that. i'd appreciate all the help i can get, and oh yeah, i have windows XP.

yes it can do that, <_<

1) record what you want it to say, then save the file in a folder
2) in your control panel, select the Sounds Speech and Audio option
3) Sound and Audio
4) Sound Tab
5) under Windows, look for Start up and select that
6) Then hit browse and select your first recording, when ur done do the same for Windows Log off and your done :D

ok, that i understand, but i guess that the thing i've been playing with just says quick sentences, because there are no options to save or permantly record a message, so im thinking that this is just the setting toolbar to a program on the computer that does save and record stuff like that. does any of this make sense to you, and can ya help? thnx
