I'm in the process of building a new pc, specs:
Core2 e6550
Gigabyte P35-DS4
2GB Super Talent RAM
80gb hard drive

I already have a PSU, the Tagan Black 480w. I was wondering whether it will be powerful enough?

Hi, it should be enough.. as long as you not overclock your system :)

however, on the safe side you might want to look at better PSU..

i give you a tips on choosing PSU,

most (almost all) computer component now utilize +12v power, thus the most important things to look at PSU is "combined +12v" rail.
your tagan has 28A current at +12v rails means 12volt x 28A = 336watts... so, i guess it should be enough.. as long as you dont oc your system..

You'll have enough power, but I wouldn't recommend it as you'd just be getting by.
