I'm using a laptop on WinXP and it cuts off from the internet every so often, perhaps every 5 minutes. Does anyone know what might be the problem? The laptop is on wireless, using WEP security and belkin is the router make.

Please help! :)

Many thanks in advance!!!

There could be some sort of interference from wireless phones, florescent lights, or even microwaves. The easiest way to test this is to unplug all of your wireless phones and see if the problem goes away. If it does, the only thing you can really do is buy some 5ghz wireless phones. The 2.4ghz phone interfere with 802.11b/g wireless routers.
