strange combo

help me please in following matter

now a days my combo drive respond in some strange manner. when i press its button to eject... it sound like dush ....dush ( means it tried to eject but it cant do this bacuase of any reason) and some time its LED not respond on eject or insert time ( looks like power connector has no connection inside it)

what should be the reson behind it

combo drive is of sony and 1 year old till now, never fall down from any height

please help ......
