I got a decent home PC; intel core 2 duo and 1 Gb ram and 250 Gb hard drive. Been on broadband with Tesco for years - no prob.
Now I got a Sky Connect 8Mg Router it only goes on line when it wants to. Usually I do a System Restore or just turn the Anti- Phishing back on.
The router is connected via the yellow lead and nothing else is connected. (I did try to connect my other PC but it said "no wireless card")

When I test the router it says it's connected but the web pages will not load until I do something pretty ordinary; trouble is what I do is different most times to make it work.

Also I cannot get Flash player anymore but I will do a separate topic for that I guess.

Forgot to say - Vista Home Premium (pre-loaded)

Sky supplied routers are crap.
Either use the modem that Tesco sent you, flash the router to turn it into what should be a decent little router once you've deSkyed it, or buy a new router.
Many posts on Google about how to get your Sky username and password out of the router to use on either another router or your USB modem from Tesco.

Thanks Neil. I will take your advice. I'm not too fond of Sky at all.
