Windows has been refusing to start up or work satisfactory all day.
Screen shows a variety of different complaints – “cant start file missing or corrupt” “cant find ntoskrnl.exe.
When it has started after a time it goes haywire with “delayed write failed” for numerous different files.
Computer has a OEM version of XP Media Centre and I have no disks – Is it possible to use a XP Home Edition to repair windows ?
Thanks for any help
