(This is all written in safe mode with networking option on, as I can't do anything in regular mode)
The computer starts up fine, and lets me log on to my user (an administrator user).
Whenever I try to run a program (checked with IE7 and some games), it opens the program window, but freezez up as soon as I trys to actually start the program. I noticed in particular with one program that as soon as it tires to access the system32 folder, the freeze up occurs. The mouse dosn't work, nor do any keys or the task maneger. The only option is to reboot manually. As stated above, this is written through the safe mode, where the problem dosn't seem to exist.
I tried running Avast, Ad-aware and Ewido all in safe mode, but noting they find fixes the problem.
I'm posting the Hijackthis log, but keep in mind that it comes from the safe mode where everything works.

If anyone can help I'd be very gratefull, Itamar.

I tried running HiJackThis in the regular mode (as I said, it start up but dosn't let me run programs) and what do you know, it worked! I than tried running a game program, and it froze up as I expected. It seems that any programs that have some connection to the windows directory freeze up, and ones that don't run fine (I'm assuming Hijack is idipendent). I have uploaded the new HiJackThis log of my user's regular log in, in the hope that it may aid in finding the problem.

After thinking a while, I decided to take this as an opprutinity to reformat my c drive, and reinstall windows.
I did all of that successfuly, but now the problem has come back!
The only things I have installed so far are the windows updates, and the SP2 seems to be the culprit.
I restarted several times before installing it (each time for different updates) and everything worked fine.
On the restart after installing it the computer frooze when opening the windows security window (the one with the antivirus/firewall options)
I restarted again manuelly, and tried to activate the IE, as that was one of the things that froze before, and what do you know, it froze again in exactly the same way! For now I'm gonna try and remove sp2, but if anyone knows how to fix the problem/if it has a different source, I would most appreciate the help
