Sorry if this question has been asked to death but I'm trying to find the best way to remove Wsup, Wtoolsa and other wintools stuff. Adaware wont do it. Below is my HJT log file. Let me know if you notice any other junk on there too. Thanks a lot for any help!!

No problem :D. Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu). Be sure you're able to view hidden files and folders, and remove the following files in bold:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Wintools\ <-- This Folder
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe <-- This File (RealOne Player adware)

Next, please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

Better, but the files are still there :D. Did you delete the files like I said? Download and install the AbsoluteShield File Shredder here. Then right click on the following files and click "X!AbsoluteShield File Shredder":

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Wintools\ <-- This Folder
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe <-- This File

Choose "Yes" you want to shred these files. Restart and then post a new log. <_<

hmmm. Sorry to be making this difficult, but because I deleted the files before, they are no longer there to use the file shredder on. I tried searching and "realsched" turned up nothing and "Wintools" turned up the following:

C:\WINDOWS\APPLOG\WINTOOLS.1.LGC
C:\WINDOWS\APPLOG\WINTOOLS.LGC
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\WinTools

but these dont match the log. Who knows? Thanks.

Good eye <_<. I did not find any "wintools" on my system so your's should not be there either. Go ahead and delete them in safe mode as I described earlier. Then reboot and post a new log. :D

Here's the new log. The wintools files are still in there. I did notice a program in Add/remove programs called "Wintools for internet explorer [v2]." Would removing this help? Thanks.

This is a stubborn one <_<. Yes use that uninstaller, then restart in safe mode and see if "C:\Program Files\Common files\WinTools\" is still there. If it is delete it. If it isn't restart in regular mode and repost a new log. :D

I get the following error message when trying to uninstall:

"An error occurred while trying to uninstall Wintools for Internet Explorer [v2]. It may have already been uninstalled. Would you like to remove it from the list?"

The log is of course still the same. Thanks.

Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):
C:\Program Files\Common files\WinTools

Fix any WinTools entries in Hijack This.

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log, and let us know how your system's working. <_<

OK. The actual folder wasn't found so I removed the following using HJT:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinTools] C:\Program Files\Common files\WinTools\WToolsA.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [WinTools] C:\Program Files\Common files\WinTools\WToolsA.exe

Also, should I have removed this one too? You only specified wintools stuff and I didn't want to make a mistake.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot

Here's the new log. Everything seems to be running well. However, Wintools for Internet Explorer [v2] is still present in Add/Remove programs, should I just remove it from the list? Thanks again. <_<

Yes remove that uninstaller if you can. Also, congratulations! Your system is CLEAN <_<

If everything seems to be working okay you can delete the Hijack This folder.

How do you prevent spyware from being installed again? We strongly recommend installing SpywareBlaster (it's free for personal use).

Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Consumes no system resources.

Download, run, check for updates, download updates, then "Enable All Protection". All done. Check for updates every couple of weeks. Link to SpywareBlaster:

It's also very important to keep your system up to date to avoid unnecessary security risks. Click Here to make sure that you have the latest patches for Windows.

Make sure your Windows Firewall is turned on. To do this:
1. Click on "Start", then "Control Panel"
2. Choose "Network and Internet Connections"
3. Then choose "Network Connections" towards the bottom-right
4. Right-click on your internet connection, and choose "Properties"
5. Under the "Advanced" tab, check the box for the "Internet Connection Firewall"
6. Press "OK" and you'll now be protected from hackers.

After doing all these, your system will be thoroughly protected from future threats. :D
